I had ear surgery here I had such a wonderful experience at the Grey Nuns hospital. In 2023 I had ear surgery at another hospital in Edmonton and I was not happy there. At the grey nuns everyone i was in contact with was amazing. It was clean, I felt safe.

Had an incision open up from a previous surgery. Spent 7.5hrs in the er waiting room. They brought me to the back room where No one even checked on me for 2 hrs. Currently still waiting. Staff are rude if you have to ask anything and spend their time joking around in the hallway instead of dealing with patients. Er waiting room was a cesspool. Someone threw up on the floor and they just left it for people to walk through. Do yourself a favor and choose a different hospital. You might very well die before getting seen here!

In a week I had to come in for a scheduled surgery and an emergency room visit for a dog bite to a NSFW area. The nurses were professional and friendly. The doctors did a great job on the surgeries. I hope not to return for decades

Very poor experience. Long wait times (8–10 hours), even after emergency admission. Overcrowded space with small beds and no privacy. It’s disappointing to see this level of service, and it felt like proper attention and specialist care were being avoided.
It’s a shame for the system!
